Fun Facts:

Unlike the rabbit, the hare is solitary and does not dig burrows, but instead it lives entirely above ground. During the day it rests and sleeps in a ‘form’, which it makes by scraping out a shallow depression in the ground, just fitting its body when crouching low. The brown hare is Britain’s fastest land mammal, clocking speeds of up to 40mph.

I love to see hares boxing like kangaroos and their reputation for speed and agility. The ‘Tortoise and the Hare’ is still a great classic to tell children especially when teaching them about perseverance and growing an open-mindset.
