Fun Facts:

Fawns average about 6 to 8 pounds at birth, just like a human baby, but will weigh about 60-70 pounds by their first winter. The doe finds secluded areas for her fawns then leaves them for a while, until she moves them to a new secluded spot.

Rachel’s Notes:

Spotted white-tailed deer fawns have to be one of the most beautiful sights in nature. Although in real life the stag does not actually engage in parenting, I like this set because we see a family group.
