Fun Facts:

Deer hinds also grow a set of antlers in spring, but they shed theirs later that the stags after they have finished protecting their young.

Rachel’s Notes:

We made sure the red deer came with his family in this collection. As one of our largest indigenous animals, they are useful additions in many small world scenarios covering woodland, forests, enchanted forests with fairies and ancient forests with Robin Hood, our Royal Family, knights or our Stone age collection. Please note these stags are not the same as reindeer – please see our Pole-to-Pole collection for reindeer/caribou.
